jess williams and his ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Leehave reached a custody agreement — one that allows him to do a Broadway play and also gives him veto power over COVID-19 matters for their two children.
According to documents, the exes were in court last week when the judge approved a couple of custody changes. Though Aryn and Jesse retain joint custody, the judge denied her request to reduce his physical time with the kids – presumably because he will be spending a lot of time in NYC.
The former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star hung at a Knicks match in January, but he’ll soon be working in the Big Apple… starring in the Broadway production ‘Take Me Out’ from March to June.
As a result, the judge now gives Jesse 4 consecutive days out with the kids – 8 years old sadie and 6 year old Maceo — every month in NYC, and 2 of those days may be weekends.
Talk about a sign of the times…the agreement also addresses how to handle COVID disputes. The judge gave Jesse “undecided authority” for 2022 if for some reason he and Aryn can’t agree on things like vaccinations or face masks for the kids.
One more thing…no flip-flops on maternity leave for Jesse. At Aryn’s request, the judge agreed that the actor cannot cancel and then “uncancel” his scheduled dad time.
Once Jesse’s play ends in the summer, they will be back in court for another custody alternation.
