The real housewives on tequila-fueled poker night in New Jersey threw some fuel on the fire.
Melissa Gorga’s husband Joe hosted Margaret Joseph’s husband Joe Benigno, Dolores Catania’s ex-husband Frank Catania, and Jennifer Aydin’s husband Bill for a subsequent night of sushi and poker on Wednesday night, and Frank brought up Teresa Giudice’s rumor that Jackie Goldschneider’s husband was Evan had been unfaithful to her.
After Gorga revealed that Giudice and Melissa had played a prank on him by pretending that Melissa had texted the owner of a restaurant in Lake George inappropriately, the conversation turned to Jackie and Evan.
“Do you think the girls are having a good time like us?” Asked Aydin.
“No, because they’ll all argue about Teresa and Jackie,” replied Benigno.
Catania asked him, according to his own statements, “eight tequilas in” to clarify this.
“But I haven’t heard any details [the] It was a rumor [Evan]I have a girlfriend, ‘said Benigno. “And … I kind of heard the same rumors.”
“To be completely honest, at any point in the day there are 10 girls in my house and none of them are speaking softly,” he quipped.
Gorga added in a confessional, “I’m not a detective, but Margaret may have heard this rumor before. I mean she lives in the same house! “
However, when the men walked around the poker table, everyone said they thought Evan was loyal to Jackie.
For her part, Jackie denied claims that her husband cheated on her. She said in a recent interview that she was only worried about how Evan would be portrayed on the show if the rumor went on because she knew it wasn’t true.
“There wasn’t even a question about whether he cheated on me,” she said. “The only reason I was upset was because of [Teresa] I’m trying to spread a rumor – not because I’ve ever interviewed my husband. “
She added, “There was no problem in my marriage. What matters is that Teresa has a problem with me; I think that’s where it all comes from. “
