Joplin police hope the general public may help remedy a three-year lacking individual case | KSNF / KODE

JOPLIN, MO – The Joplin Police Department is seeking your help in solving a three-year missing person case.

Sarah Burton, 31, was last seen in the 10th and Rex area on July 16, 2018.

Since then, officials have followed up on a number of leads, including a search of a property southwest of Joplin.

Joplin police say they continue to receive tips and hope it stays that way.

“Someone out there knows something. and we just hope that their conscience overwhelms them and that they come forward and provide this information so we can take them home, close the family, and seek justice. ”Says JPD Capt. Will Davis.

Sarah Burton is described as 5ft. 7 inches tall, about 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

There is still a $ 5,000 reward.
