Kalaburagi, December 4th: In a shocking incident on Thursday in the Kalaburagi district of Karnataka, a man allegedly killed his 30-year-old wife on suspicion of infidelity. The deceased was identified as Manjula. The incident took place at the couple’s farm in Chennur Village, Chincholi Taluk. The defendant Satish killed Manjula after an argument with an ax. According to a report published in The times of IndiaOn the day of the incident, Manjula was delivering lunch to her husband in their field when the argument broke out between the two. Satish doubted Manjula was having an extramarital affair. After the argument, the defendant attacked his wife with an ax. The woman died after a while.
After the crime was committed, Satish fled the scene. According to the media report, the deceased’s father-in-law and brother-in-law went to the field that evening because the couple did not return home. Manjula was then taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. Manjula’s brother Hemrath filed a complaint against Satish with the police. The police have started the investigation and launched a manhunt to catch the defendant.
