Kenya Moore informs concerning the divorce from Marc Daly after the drama “Upkeep Request” within the final episode

Kenya Moore cleared the status of her divorce from Marc Daly after visiting the law firm on the latest episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Antavius Weems, Kenya’s attorney, gave her the news that Daly had formally filed for divorce, despite Kenya saying they recently talked about working on their relationship.
Fans were surprised to learn that Marc had reportedly also requested alimony – although there was an update on that, which is described below.

Kenya announced that Daly had texted her love songs and even created a playlist dedicated to her in an attempt to win her back.
“Listening to the songs definitely gave me hope and made me cry,” Kenya admitted.
The housewives audience knows that Marc and Kenya had a tumultuous relationship.

Moore burst into tears as he spoke of their marital problems and said, “I don’t know why he’s so difficult, like he just can’t be vulnerable. He can’t talk about his feelings or show me the love he actually has for me. “
Then we learned that Kenya never intended to file for divorce. and the couple only used lawyers to negotiate custody of their two-year-old daughter Brooklyn.
“Why are you seeking custody instead of a divorce?” A RHOA producer asked Kenya during a confessional interview.
“Because at the moment we haven’t discussed where our relationship is going, ”Kenya replied. “We were separated, but at the same time the problem with Brooklyn is immediate.”

Marc blindsides Kenya
Moore’s attorney then announced that that day he had received papers from Marc’s attorneys stating that he had just filed for divorce and saw that he appeared to be asking for alimony.
Moore was completely shocked, especially since Marc has said in the past that Kenya can “take anything” and that he doesn’t need your money.
Kenya’s attorney also pointed out that Marc had filed for divorce in the wrong state; Marc lives in Georgia but has submitted in New York.
Weems emailed Marc’s layperson requesting that Daly dismiss his case against Kenya within the next 24 hours.
The episode ended with a cliffhanger. If Daly refused to drop his case, they would be forced to take him to court.
Weems warned Kenya: “Because of his behavior, I would imagine it will be a knock-out drag-out.”

Kenya’s declaration
After the episode aired, Kenya went to her Twitter to explain that there was a legal misunderstanding.
It appears there were crossed wires about the terms that were listed and Marc claimed he never really asked for maintenance.
Kenya also confirmed that no legal action has been taken regarding her divorce since then.
She wrote: “For the record: Marc withdrew the divorce petition the next day, saying that he did not ask for maintenance when it was filed and that we misinterpreted New York law. So far there have been no further divorce suits. This scene was recorded months ago. “

The response to Moore’s statement was mixed. Most fans didn’t want Kenya to appear to be manipulated by Marc.

What’s next for Kenya on RHOA?
Kenya has played a ton of drama this season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, especially regarding Marc and their relationship.
Even other actors have tuned in.
Drew Sidora recently dragged Kenya about her marital situation and said it is because she believes Moore is seedy and a liar.
But as Kenya said in the last episode: “I don’t play a nice guy anymore.”
The fans will have to wait and see how Kenya will deal with the shadow.
