Kim Kardashian and Kanye West settle youngster custody whereas divorce finalizes

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are done — forever.

People Magazine reports that the protracted split between the two celebrities has finally come to an end after almost two years of back-and-forth talks and settlements over custody of their four children.

What Kim Kardashian Won in Divorcing Kanye West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s stance on joint custody of four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, remains unchanged, meaning the children will split their time evenly between their parents’ homes. The celebrities also agreed on their stance on spousal support; Neither wealthy celebrity will need the financial support of the other to fund their respective lifestyles — that is, outside of their children.

As part of the closing, the court ordered Kanye West to pay a total of $200,000 a month in child support. And while we know every celebrity has joint custody, it’s safe to assume Kardashian will be the primary caregiver since she’s not the one assigned to pay the monthly child support fees.

Surprisingly, West has yet to break his silence on the final divorce and his whopping child support payments. Neither does Kardashian. But of course, their respective fandoms have a lot to say about the long-awaited result.

“Why would he, a billionaire, have to pay her a billionaire when they both have custody?” A fan said in support of West. A supportive fan also wrote: “Nah, Kanye has his *liking* and now he has to maintain that lifestyle for these kids. They are no ordinary children. They need security, etc. Kanye just made a bunch of terrible decisions. ‘A fool and his money are soon parted’ (Proverbs 21:20).”

Some fans have gone so far as to throw West’s “Gold Digger” lyrics back at him.

We’ll soon know what else Kanye West has to give up in the divorce. We’ll know the same thing about Kim Kardashian. At the moment it seems like a long road for all involved.
