Lacking 76-year-old girl discovered protected in Lengthy Seaside • Lengthy Seaside Put up Information
The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 76-year-old woman who went missing near St. Mary Medical Center Saturday morning.
Police said Yay Cheas was last seen around 11:45 a.m. on March 12, visiting his family on the 1000 block of Olive Avenue. According to police, Cheas went out of sight in an unknown direction and disappeared. Her family immediately began looking for Cheas, but were unable to find her.
Cheas suffers from an intellectual disability and can become disoriented, police said.
Cheas is 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. According to a press release from the Long Beach Police Department, she has gray hair and brown eyes. According to the LBPD, she was last seen in a tan blazer jacket, black trousers, a black French-style hat and pink sneakers.
