SUMMARY: Hong Kong detective Bennie Black (Chan), one of the last good cops, has been tracking dangerous crime boss Victor Wong for over a decade. When Bennie's beautiful young niece Samantha (Fan Bingbing) gets into trouble with Wong's crime syndicate, he must find the only man who can help her: quick-witted American gambler Connor Watts (Knoxville). Watts is also on the run from the same mafia and a dangerous Russian hitman. When he finally catches up with Connor in Siberia, Bennie races against time to bring him back to Hong Kong. The unlikely pair embark on a hilarious, dangerous adventure from the windswept dunes of the Gobi Desert to the rocky peaks of the Huangshan Mountains. In this buddy comedy, cultures collide and take us to places on Earth we've never seen before.

UPDATE: For unknown reasons, the release date for SKIPTRACE has been pushed back from Christmas to sometime in 2016.

Former WWE Diva EVE TORRES has joined the cast of JACKIE CHAN’s upcoming action comedy SKIPTRACE!
On her official website she announced the following:

I'm so excited to announce that I'm going to Beijing, China for an amazing role in an upcoming movie! I'm super excited because I'll be working with one of my childhood idols, Jackie Chan! I'll be learning from the best, working hard, and having a ton of fun, so I may have limited internet access in China. In addition to her experience as a wrestler, Torres also practices kickboxing and holds a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It is not yet known what role she will play.
“Skiptrace” is directed by '90s action guru RENNY HARLIN (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) and stars martial arts legend JACKIE CHAN, FAN BINGBING (X-Men: Days of Future Past) and JOHNNY KNOXVILLE (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). The film follows Chan as “a Hong Kong detective who teams up with a cheeky American gambler (Knoxville) to rescue his niece (BingBing) and take down the city's most notorious criminal.” The tone of the film is said to be similar to that of “Midnight Run.”
