Love Island winner Greg O’Shea opens up about infidelity after planning to suggest

Love Island star and Rugby Sevens Olympian Greg O’Shea has revealed that before becoming a reality TV performer he was in a committed relationship and was ready to propose.

He revealed that he had been in a long-term relationship with a partner for four years and was fully committed and even planning to propose.

He told Instagram models Charleen Murphy and Ellie Kelly on their podcast Hold My Drink, “Before my last relationship, I dated a girl for four years and I was so emotionally involved with her that I wanted to propose to her. “

“I was head over heels in love with her… That was before Love Island.”

He went on to share his heartbreak by telling bloggers that he was cheated on by two of his ex-boyfriends and hasn’t spoken to them since the day they broke up.

“We haven’t spoken to each other since the day we broke up… That’s a long story… We might as well be dead to each other. We don’t speak in any way, none of them.”

“The long story is that they both met people behind my back. It happened to both of them twice.”

The Love Islander explained that he’s made a huge “emotional investment” in relationships and being cheated on has left him “tired out” by women.

“I would be polite to them if I saw them, but that’s why I’m tired of women. I can’t do it again. It’s so much emotional investment and then getting burned twice,” he said.

However, the star hasn’t given up on love just yet and wants to meet someone the traditional way – away from reality TV cameras.

“I’m really traditional, I love having a girlfriend. I love having a girl that I care about and take care of. And all my buddies are getting engaged, getting houses, and I’d really like that, but I haven’t found anyone else to do that with,” he said.

“I’ve never done dating apps, it’s never been my thing … I’d much rather walk up to someone and ask them out, which really amazes girls these days.”

“So yeah, I haven’t gotten back into the dating world yet… I’m exhausted.”
