Machakos man is alleged to have killed lady for surrendering infidelity

A man believed to have fatally stabbed his wife on October 21 has surrendered to police.

Andrew Mutiso Musau reportedly killed his wife after finding her with her lover in their marital home.

Mutiso, who fled the scene, turned himself in to officers at the Athi River Police Station. He was accompanied by two of his brothers.

“A machakos man believed to have killed his wife by stabbing her six times after allegedly finding her in her home with another man, surrendered to the Athi River detectives,” said DCI.

A manhunt was launched on Saturday after the body of Mutiso’s wife was discovered in her home by worried Nyumba Kumi officials.

“Shocked by the terrible scene, alarmed neighbors who were privy to the heated brawl that followed on Thursday evening between Mutiso and his wife when he found another man who took his roles in their institution of marriage, the police of the corpse” added DCI.

Detectives from Kitengela have now processed the crime scene.

The remains of the deceased were also taken to a local morgue for autopsy.

“As the investigation continues, the suspect will be charged with murder tomorrow (Monday).”
