Man murders his spouse for “infidelity” after which stabs himself | Vijayawada Information

A man who murdered his wife later committed suicide by stabbing himself in his home in the village of Pachalatadiparru, Ponnur Mandal, Guntur District. The incident occurred on Monday but became known on Tuesday after police recorded a case. The dead person was Dakkumalla Yesubabu (30).
According to Ponnur police, Yesubabu had suspected his wife’s allegiance and had often physically assaulted her. On Monday, Yesubabu attacked Manisha, 27, with a chutney pounder, causing serious head injuries. She was soon taken to Ponnur Hospital by other family members, but succumbed during treatment. Shortly after hearing the news of his wife’s death, Yesubabu committed suicide by stabbing himself. When his relatives got home, they found Yesubabu in a pool of blood.
Police investigated the scene and said they found Yesubabu’s fingerprints on the knife.
