Man stabs lady’s personal components with nails after suspecting her of infidelity – Kenya Information Company

Police in Homa Bay have started a manhunt for a colleague who punished his 32-year-old wife by piercing her genitals with nails after suspecting her of cheating on him with an assistant principal.

The suspect reportedly fled immediately after the attack on the woman in Kabuor village in East Kamagak in southern Rachuonyo subdistrict on Thursday.

According to the victim’s family, the suspect had just got home from duty and decided to check the people his wife was in contact with during his absence by going through the messages and call history of her phone.

At that point, he smelled a rat after having had numerous conversations between his wife and the assistant principal of a certain elementary school in the southern sub-district of Rachuonyo.

“This discovery made him suspect that his wife was having an extramarital affair with the teacher and asked why there were so many calls from him compared to calls from other people,” said the woman’s father, Alfeus Ongóu.

Ongóu said her daughter’s attempt to convince him that they were discussing issues about their three children’s education fell on deaf ears and he started beating her before nailing her private parts.

“I am a concerned father because my daughter has been seriously attacked. He went so far as to prick her genitals with nails. I’m worried he might kill her, ”Ong’ou said, adding that the victim was reported to the Oyugis Police Station at 10:00 pm that same day and then treated at the Rachuonyo South Sub-County Hospital.
Confirming the incident, Rachuonyo South Deputy District Commissioner David Kiprop condemned the act as inhuman.

“Why are you sticking someone’s genitals with nails even if she’s broken your marriage rules?” He posed and reassured the victim to the judiciary as soon as the suspect was arrested.
He advised couples to amicably resolve marital disputes by engaging elders, religious leaders, or advisers rather than resorting to violence.
