Jaipur, August 30th: In a shocking incident on Saturday night, a man allegedly killed his wife on suspicion of infidelity. The defendant, identified as Mushtaq, was reportedly arrested by police. The incident was reported from the village of Milakpur in Alwar, Rajasthan. The defendant and his wife, Sahina, reportedly had regular arguments. The couple had been married for 15 years and had five children. The deceased’s body has been taken for an autopsy and an investigation is underway. According to the report, the defendant attacked his wife with an ax, which resulted in her immediate death. There were wounds and marks on the body and face of the deceased, the Times of India reported. The incident first came to light when the couple’s son discovered some blood on the floor at home and sounded the alarm, and the defendant, who had fled on the spot, was caught by police. The police are reportedly investigating the incident from “all angles”. Report informs that the defendant was suspicious of his wife’s character. “We are investigating all aspects of the case. The interrogation is ongoing and further details will not be known until we complete it. But from what we have learned so far, the couple fought regularly. On Saturday the husband took an ax and killed “His wife,” said a police officer, as quoted by the Times of India. The deceased family has also been informed of the incident and further investigations are ongoing.
