Nov. 23 – A North Augusta man who was reported missing last Thursday was found dead Monday.

Kenneth Dale Williams, 52, of North Augusta, was found dead on an embankment off Belvedere Clearwater Road around 12:30 p.m., said Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables.

Ables said an autopsy was scheduled for Williams. Aiken County Sheriff’s Office Captain Eric Abdullah said William’s death was not suspicious.

Williams was first reported missing on November 17, Ables said.

According to a report from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, police met with a complainant at approximately 9:25 p.m. on November 20 at Block 100 of Bordeaux Street in relation to a missing person.

The applicant told police that he spoke to Williams, his brother, at his home. Williams then rode away on his bike, the report said.

The brother told police he saw Williams pushing his bike down Belvedere Clearwater Road around 10:30 p.m. on November 17.

He also told police that Williams had a brain injury from a motorcycle accident and was on medication.

Williams was turned over to the National Crime Information Center as a missing person, the report said.
