Miranda Lambert has announced her highly anticipated new album, Postcards from Texas.

The 14-track album, released on September 13, includes the lead single “Wranglers”, the recently published “Damn it, Randy” And “Alimony,” which coincided with Miranda's announcement.

“My parents were private investigators in Dallas, Texas, who handled a lot of divorce cases in upscale neighborhoods, so [‘Alimony’] wasn't difficult to write. I had heard about it my whole life,” says Miranda about the country shuffle she wrote with Natalie Hemby And Shane McAnally.

“Once we had the line – 'If you leave me in San Antone, don't forget the alimony' – it took off! We intentionally used every Texas metaphor we could think of; we wanted to take something that was kind of crappy and put some humor back into it,” she explains. “I mean, the guy gets off pretty easy if he just moves back in with his mom.”

Postcards from Texas is available for Pre-order And Fold Now.
