A missing person has been found dead in the Co Tyrone region of Northern Ireland, the PSNI has confirmed.
Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
According to the Search and Rescue Dog Association, the missing person was found Monday night after a search in the Dungannon area.
In a social media post, the volunteer group said: “Around 7:30pm we were tasked by Police Service of Northern Ireland, POLSA, to assist them in identifying the route of a missing person in the Dungannon area using our trailing search dogs.
“Unfortunately, the missing person was found dead before we arrived.
“Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends of the deceased.”
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police were at the scene of the sudden death of a man in the Tamnamore Road area of Dungannon on Monday 9 January. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
