Missing individual: Haikū man identified to be final in Hāna, 11. 5: Maui now

William Kupstas, 58, from Haiku

The Maui Police Department is asking for the public’s help with information regarding the whereabouts of William Kupstas, 58, of Haʻikū.

He was reported missing on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 by family members whose last telephone contact with him was on Saturday afternoon, November 5, 2022 when he was reportedly in the Hāna area

Police say Kupstas travels on foot but is known to use MEO buses.

Kupstas is described as 5ft 10 inches tall, weighs about 185 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen on the morning of Saturday, November 5, 2022 wearing a blue shirt, dark shorts and a black baseball cap.

Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact the Maui Police Department non-emergency number at 808-244-6400. If it is an emergency, dial 911 and refer to MPD Report #22-036472.
