BATON ROUGE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, two Louisiana men were arrested by Livestock Brand Inspectors on two separate investigations involving cattle theft in the community of St. Landry.
Ray A. Dunbar, 49, was arrested on a cattle theft warrant following an investigation by the Livestock Brand Commission of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF). During the investigation, it was found that Dunbar received two head of cattle and failed to make the legally required payment to a local cattle market. This alleged theft took place on October 12, 2021.
