A Ghanaian woman identified as Rebecca Amoah allegedly killed herself in response to her husband’s alleged infidelity.
The 35-year-old mother of two is said to have warned her husband several times not to refrain from extramarital affairs, but he would not listen to her.
Amoah, who could no longer stand her husband’s actions, allegedly decided to commit suicide, leaving her two children behind.
Local residents confirmed to journalists that Amoah had complained bitterly about her husband’s demeanor and threatened to kill himself.
On the day of the incident, Amoah is said to have locked himself in a room in her apartment while her husband was absent and carried out the act.
Local residents said that carpenters had to break open the door before Amoah’s lifeless body was recovered.
Naija news The incident is known to have occurred in Kasoa, a suburb of Accra, and is currently being investigated by the Kasoa Police Station.
The husband learned of his wife’s unfortunate death.

Desperate lady Claudia Resendiz-Florez was reported with her boyfriend James Jones and girlfriend at their home in Rolling Meadows town when the incident happened.
Naija news found out the trio were having a drink together when Resendiz-Florez reportedly asked Jones for a kiss, but he declined because his girlfriend was sitting next to him.
Jones reportedly kissed his girlfriend after turning down the same thing for Resendiz-Florez.
The act, Naija news understands jealous Resendiz-Florez to ask the girlfriend for a kiss, said the prosecutor at an indictment.
