Monday marked a year since the missing Tallahassee girl Lori Paige was last seen

Tallahassee, Fla. (WCTV) – It was 12 months since Tallahasee Tween Lori Paige put on the grip on Middle School, saw her loved ones or slept in her own bed.

Your absence was worrying.

The 13th birthday of the Tallahasee girl came and went a little more than a month ago, but there were no signs of her. In the course of time since Paige was recently seen, there is a central question for the community that was touched by its disappearance: Where is Lori Paige?

She was only 12 years old when she was last seen in June 2023 on the Continental Court near the Ocala Road. This area is located near the San Luis Mission Park, where months later almost 100 people failed to support the search for references to Paige whereabouts. In the same week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced a reward of $ 15,000 for information about the girl's disappearance.

Who is Lori Paige?

At the time of her disappearance, Paige was described as 5 feet and about £ 120 with brown eyes and black shoulder -length dreadlock. An official flyer for missing person with photos of her can be seen below.

Paiges family did not speak to the media or published official statements about their disappearance. However, para -professional Margaret Summers, who taught Paige, announced WCTV that she is a clever and attentive student who left a permanent influence.

“We should try to make the children important, but the way they always asked me for me made myself important,” said Summers during an interview in February. “I didn't forget how she felt me.”

Where does the investigation stand?

In the past 12 months, the Tallahasee police have repeatedly announced that this case has priority.

The TPD boss Lawrence Revell is expected to talk to the media on Monday. In previous interviews, detectives and a TPD spokesman have worked out some of the aspects that have made Paige case unique.

According to the TPD, Paige had no well -known digital footprint at the time of her disappearance. In February, however, a spokesman “also announced with a minimal digital footprint that we still have to comb through evidence online.”

Over time that was adopted, the concerns of both the law enforcement authorities and the community have grown every day.

In addition to a reward for information, advertising boards in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee were also published in order to raise awareness of the search. The FBI said Paige “Ties or can Tallahasee, Florida; Tampa, Florida; Thomasville, Georgia; and Nashville, Tennessee, visit.” It is not clear how her ties can be to Georgia or Tennessee.

What can you do

Officials have asked the residents to share information they have, “no matter how insignificant it may be. TPD investigators ask everyone who has knowledge of the disappearance of Paige or the place of residence under 850-891-4200.

In the past few months, Summers and other community figures have distributed flyers, planted garden signs and held press conferences to keep the case on attention. In an earlier interview, Summers said that she does not want the course to give up the case.

“Every child is important. If she has only disappeared and nobody knew about it, wouldn't she say that she doesn't matter?”
