POLICE, firefighters, Coast Guard rescue teams and the Angle RNLI rescue boat were involved in a multi-agency search for a missing person on Saturday morning (April 29).
The Coast Guard had several vehicles parked on The Rath, Milford Haven for several hours on Saturday and erected a tent as a command center to assist in the search.
Angle RNLI confirmed on social media that shortly after 10am the crew received a call from the Coast Guard to search for a missing person in the Wards Pier/Rath area.
The RNLI said: “The lifeboat launched and conducted coastal searches at the Haven along with other Coast Guard rescue teams, police officers and firefighters.”
HM Coastguard Team Broad Haven posted on Facebook: “The team was called at 0957 to reports of a missing person in the Milford Haven area.
“A full search took place between Blackbridge and Sandy Haven in conjunction with HM Coastguard Dale Angle Lifeboat RNLI and HM Coastguard Llansteffan until the afternoon when we received further information from police on the whereabouts of the missing person, which meant we could be standing.” on.”
