A messy situation. The Bachelorette season 19 contestant Nate Mitchell addressed allegations that he dated two women at the same time without their knowledge before appearing on the ABC series.
“Two sides to every story 🙏 I wish you the best,” the 33-year-old reality TV contestant replied to an Instagram comment in which he asked, “Why are you playing girls?” The social media interaction was, after Reality Steve released a podcast episode featuring allegations of infidelity from Nate’s side on Tuesday, August 9th.

The 47-year-old reality TV connoisseur also presented the allegations on his website and explained his correspondence Kelsey Fankhauser, who says she dated Nate from 2020 to 2021. “I cried for a guy who kept his kid from me for 1.5 years when we were together and I found out on reality TV,” Kelsey wrote in a July Tiktok video. To further prove the legitimacy of her relationship with the ABC personality, she provided Reality Steve with a collection of photos of them together.
Reality Steve’s post also included screenshots of alleged direct messages Kelsey received from a woman by the name Laree Starke, who claimed to have been romantically involved with Nate while he was allegedly exclusive with her. “I wish Nate the best,” Frank told the podcaster. “I don’t want to influence his future, but it’s important to me not to let his secrets catch another girl by surprise.”
Aside from the aforementioned Instagram comment, Nate has yet to address the report. So far, the Chicago native has made a good impression Gaby Windythis season’s bachelorette along with Rachel Reccia. In episode five, Gabby gave him the group date Rose, meaning he’s guaranteed to be featured in the next episode, which airs Monday August 15.
The electrical engineer told Windey about his daughter on their first personal date. “She’s my world. For example, a pocket in my heart first burst open when she said, ‘Dad’ [and] when she first told me she loved me,” he said on the show.
The self-proclaimed “girl dad” was also praised by fans for the way he dealt with fellow contestants Chris Austin He said he wouldn’t be comfortable with Gabby and Rachel being intimate with multiple suitors during Fantasy Suites week.
“Anytime you have the willful thought, ‘You’re not going to do this unless you do that,’ that’s a form of control,” he told Chris on the show. “And that’s manipulative. This could be our queen. This could be the mother of our children. This could be someone we spend the rest of our lives with.”
