OAKLAND — Nearly three weeks after she went missing, authorities say an Oakland woman has been found with dementia.
Maria Mooney, 79, has been missing since February 15 and her daughter Martha Mooney has offered a $2,000 reward to anyone with information to locate her mother.
“Thank you to our community and media partners, Maria Mooney is no longer a missing person.
She has been located,” the Oakland Police Department said in a tweet Monday.
Oakland police officers Monday afternoon declined to answer questions about Mooney’s whereabouts or her current condition.
Mooney’s family told police she had been located, police spokesman Paul Chambers said Monday. Chambers said he could not offer any more information.
