In another shocking incident, a 32-year-old man allegedly burned his 28-year-old wife to death on suspicion of infidelity in the Kendrapara district of Odisha.
The incident occurred Wednesday evening in Bajeipada Village, Pattamundai Police Station, an official said.
The woman’s charred body was removed from the house Thursday morning, he said.

The defendant is escaping and a manhunt was launched to catch him, the officer said.
One case has been registered and further investigations are ongoing, he added.
