Officers locate stolen vehicle via GPS tracking, 3 people arrested | Crime

MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police arrested three people in connection with a car theft over the weekend.

A resident in the 900 block of Troy Drive reported his vehicle theft to police on Saturday.

Spokesman Anthony Vogel said the caller reported his vehicle had been stolen from his open garage. Using the vehicle's GPS tracking capabilities, officers were able to locate the vehicle and set up nail barriers, Vogel said.

The vehicle was stopped and the occupants were asked to get out.

Keyunna Tate, 19, was arrested for burglary, evading bail, and operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent. Pierre Clark, 18, was arrested for burglary and operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent (passenger). Daveion Tate, 18, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent (passenger).
