OLDSMAR – A man stabbed his wife to death at their home in Oldsmar on Sunday during an infidelity dispute, MPs said.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s office announced shortly after midnight Monday that it was looking for Robbie Dinkins, 52, as a person interested in his wife’s death. At around 10:20 a.m., Dinkins found the couple’s car at a Wawa gas station, Belcher Road, and Gulf to Bay Boulevard.
Dinkins is charged with second degree murder in the death of Lynn Dinkins, 47.
Dinkins told detectives during an interview that the two were arguing over allegations of infidelity, the sheriff’s office said. The confrontation became physical and he stabbed her several times, the sheriff’s office said.
The deputies were called to the couple’s home at Azalea Court in 1707 to contact Lynn Dinkins but found her dead, the Sheriff’s Office said.
They called on the public for help finding their husband and the couple’s gray Hyundai sonata, including the license plate.
