Vermont State Police are asking for help locating a 77-year-old Middlesex man. Police were notified of a potentially missing person named Joseph Picard around 8:37 p.m. Wednesday. Joseph was last seen at his home on Picard Road, Middlesex, around 8:30pm on Monday, police said. Police interviewed the family and learned that Picard had recently started showing signs of memory loss. Picard was last seen in a mint green shirt, jeans, an overhead sweater, baseball cap and gray Velcro sneakers. The search efforts are ongoing. According to the police, an increased police presence in the area is to be expected.
