Police are trying to find lacking individual final seen close to Cattlemen’s Steak Home – The Advocate-Messenger
A BOLO is out for Avery Spicer, which is it a 32-year-old mixed-race man with a beard, last seen near the Cattlemen’s Steak House in Danville.
At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Monday, April 25, the Danville Police Department received a BOLO for Spicer. Spicer’s friend Kayla Jones had reported to law enforcement that she had reason to believe Spicer was having suicidal thoughts.
Jones spotted her vehicle on Shannon Way off the Danville bypass, just past Cattleman’s Steak House, with some Spicer clothing. Officials were able to view videos of local Spicer businesses walking toward the pond.
After an initial search of the area with help from the Danville Fire and the Boyle County Sheriff resulted in no contact with Spicer, members of the county rescue team were contacted to direct a search of the water.
As of 9:30 p.m. Spicer was not found and the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office will file a missing persons report. Rescue and search teams will be back in the area first thing tomorrow morning to continue the search effort. Spicer was last seen on video in the area around 3:45 p.m. wearing a light green reflective shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on the location of Avery Spicer is urged to contact the Danville Dispatch Center at 859-238-1220.
