Police install GPS tracking device on two terrorists in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, May 30: Police on Thursday fitted two terrorists with a GPS device in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said in compliance with a court order, Anantnag police on Thursday attached GPS tracking devices to terrorists who were released on bail in the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) UA(P) Act case.
The accused were arrested under Section 38, 39 UA(P) of the Act from Dooru Police Station in 2018 and their bail was extended by the court.
“The GPS ankle bracelet will be used to monitor the movements of the terrorists in question and ensure that they do not violate the bail conditions,” police said.
