Police report from January 15th: missing person, assault, thefts

Media barracks

The state police are investigating a missing person report. According to police, the father of a 30-year-old Aston woman said his daughter Casey Glatts was missing and he believed she was in danger. The incident was reported on January 10th. There was no mention of where she was last seen. She was reported missing to NCIC (National Crime Information Center) and the vehicle was listed as BOLO (Be-On-Look-Out). Gattis was described in the report only as white and non-Hispanic.

On Dec. 10, two people reportedly stole $1,000 worth of clothing and merchandise from Lululemon in Concord Township. Police are investigating, the report says.

DSW Shoes was a victim of shoplifting. State Police at the Media Barracks are investigating the theft of $236 worth of items stolen from the Concord Town Center store on December 1st.

Avondale Barracks

No names were named in the report, but state police at the Avondale barracks charged a driver with driving at an unsafe speed after a two-car crash on the Kennett-Oxford Bypass at 11:16 a.m. Jan. 6, it said the report A 2020 Mazda CX3 was in the left northbound lane when the driver lost control of the car and traveled northbound on the highway, overturning and crashing Vehicle hit in the right lane.

Police said Liam R. Tumely, 31, of Media, was cited following a car accident Dec. 24 in Kennett Township. The accident occurred on Bayard Road near Viburnum Drive at 11:47 p.m. According to the report, Tumely was driving north on Bayard when he attempted to negotiate a left turn but was speeding, veering off the road and crashing into a tree. The report also states that he showed signs of impairment and was arrested for drunk driving.

Kennett Square Police Department

County police said they arrested Christopher Riale, 50, on charges of making terroristic threats, harassment and simple assault. According to the report, Riale hit his brother in the face with his clenched fist and said he would kill him and the entire family. He was taken into custody for this incident and on a warrant out of Cumberland County. The incident occurred on January 10th.
