Polygamous man fatally attacks his two wives for infidelity
A Chinhoyi man who accused his two wives of infidelity reportedly tied them to a tree before brutally attacking them with a wire and tree bark.
One of them died in the attack while the other is fighting for her life in the hospital.
The suspect, John Musani, 33, who is currently on the run, is wanted by police after Monday’s brutal attack.
He accused them of having cheated on him with gold panners from the area.
In a statement, the Police of the Republic of Zimbabwe (ZRP) went to their Twitter page and wrote:
“The police in Chinhoyi are asking for information that could lead to the arrest of John Musani, 33, who is being sought in connection with an attempted murder and murder cases on October 25, 2011 at the citrus farm Chinhoyi.
The suspect tied his two wives, Beauty Zindoga, 24, and Privilege Zuwerere, 20, to a tree before attacking them with tree bark and a wire after accusing them of having extramarital affairs with illegal gold panners. Beauty Zindoga succumbed to injuries sustained in the attack when Privilege Zuwerere was admitted to Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital and her condition is critical, “police tweeted
On other news, iHarare reported that a six-year-old Glenorah girl was under investigation for murder after her playmate died from injuries sustained after she knocked him to the ground while playing.
6-year-old Given Tsuro died on Tuesday while being admitted to Sally Mugabe Hospital. The tragic incident is said to have occurred on Sunday last week.
The police of the Republic of Zimbabwe announced the development on their Twitter handle.
