An extensive search for a high risk missing person called in a police helicopter and eventually found them in the water near a castle in Dorset.
The urgent search for the person on Portland took place on Friday (February 11).
Weymouth & Portland Police posted to Facebook just after 11pm on Friday to update the public of the search.

The Post said: “Officials were dispatched tonight on reports of a high-risk missing person in Portland.
“The individual was eventually located after an extensive area search by police, including the National Police Air Service.
“The person was originally found in the water near Portland Castle.
“They were quickly brought to safety with the help of the population and taken to the hospital for medical care.”
The population thanked the police and emergency services for their efforts during the search.
Jane commented on the police post, saying: “Well done everyone involved.”
While Carmen added, “Well done hope this person gets the help they need.”
Jacqueline simply said, “Thank god you found her.”
