This is a list of pastors who have exposed their personal affairs to the world.

1. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

In 2014, it was announced that the senior pastor of Believers Love World Incorporated, also known as the Christ Embassy, ​​and his wife, Anita, were divorcing.

Many didn’t believe then, but it was true after all.

Pastor Anita filed for divorce in a London court on grounds of “unreasonable behavior” which, according to reports at the time, included adultery.

According to vanguard, Pastor Chris denied the allegations of adultery, believing that his wife was influenced by bad friends who intended to demolish his home.

2. Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo

No pastor in modern Nigerian history has been scrutinized as closely as Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in Abuja.

Fatoyibo’s fraud scandal began in 2013 when blogger Efe Walter accused him of having an affair with her.

Since then, there has been a spate of allegations, including rape.

3. Apostle Johnson Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman is considered one of the most passionate and witty pastors in Nigeria. No wonder his infidelity scandal remains a shock to the herd.

In 2017, a Canadian stripper, Stephanie Otobo claimed to be the secret lover of the General Supervisor of the Omega Fire Department.

She allegedly gave a detailed account of their relationship, including the pastor’s gifts to her. She also accused the pastor of having an affair with me Nollywood actress Daniella Okeke. The pastor denied all of these allegations.

In 2020 a man was identified as Pastor Mike Davids accused the Auchi-based pastor of having an affair with his wife, Believe Edeko. He claimed his wife had confessed to the adulterous relationship with Suleman.

4. Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe

Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe was known in Nigeria and abroad for his brilliant writing and the creation of one of the most widely read religious books, Daily Manna. In 2017, however Rita Ibeni, a member of Our Daily Manna / Manna Prayer Mountain Ministry, alleged the pastor made sexual advances.

A phone call recording of Ibeni and a man who was alleged to be Kwakpovwe later emerged.

In the recording, the man confessed his love for Ibeni and expressed an interest in sexual relationships.

The church later issued a statement insisting that the pastor was not the person on the phone call.

5. Pastor Joshua Iginla

Champions Royal Assembly senior pastor Joshua Iginla shocked his church in 2019 when he confessed to having an affair outside of his marriage.

Iginla spoke about how he and his wife sought a divorce and have spent the past few years as a united front while fighting adultery-related battles.

He also told the congregation that his wife cheated on him and failed to turn a new page, a burden he had borne for the past seven years.

Iginla also admitted that he and his wife were still married, illegitimate babies.

6. Bishop Francis Wale Okay

Bishop Francis Wale Oke of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, also known as Christ Life Church, left many Christians in shock after speaking out about his adulterous lifestyle.

The man of God confessed to his church that he was having an affair with his secretary.

According to him, this relationship had existed for years. Oke, who was already considered one of the best pastors in the country, saw his ministry and his church affected by this open confession.

7. Pastor Chris Omatshola

One of the most interesting stories on this list is that of Pastor Chris Omatshola of the Zionwealth Ministry, Lekki. In 2019, the young pastor’s sex videos were posted on social media with a woman identified as Princess Tamara Okpewho.

Omaschola in his defense said he knew about the tapes; “Princess and I had 10+ sex videos of us on our phones as she enjoyed filming sex. In all honesty, the sex videos were sometimes recorded in October 2017,” he said Beat.

While Okpewho accused Omatsola of posting the video to force her to marry him, clergyman Punch said the video was leaked to blackmail him.

8. Pastor Timothy Ngwu

Pastor Timothy Ngwu of the Vineyard Ministry of the Holy Trinity was also embroiled in a very chaotic scandal. The pastor was accused of having affairs with several female members of his congregation.

In 2015, Ngwu was arrested on charges of impregnating 20 members of his ward.

It was reportedly his estranged wife Veronica who reported the pastor to the police before he was arrested.
