Real Housewives Who Got Crazy Alimony Payments

Several Real Housewives said goodbye to their marriage on air. As we all know, when a marriage ends, divorce court begins. Luckily, some of Bravo’s leading ladies have emerged victorious from those courtrooms, with huge child support payments in their pockets. We rejoice in these victories because when players play, their exes deserve to be killed.

On the other hand, some housewives received no maintenance from their ex-partners. Ashley Darby and Porsha Williams are prime examples of this. In contrast, Bethenny Frankel was ordered to pay her ex $12,000 every month because Jason Hoppy liked nice things. Luckily, after two years of supporting Jason’s lifestyle, Bethenny received good news in her divorce proceedings and a judge ruled that her payments could be stopped.

The vast majority of these exes chose to seal their court records. So we will probably never know what was awarded or not. Larsa Pippen falls into this category. Her ex Scottie Pippen was an NBA ballplayer and earned a total of over $100 million from his salary alone. Therefore, we can only imagine what Larsa received for her nearly two-decade marriage.

So who actually walked out of a courtroom with a well-known stroke of luck? Well, we were able to find four cases that were either unsealed or uncovered. Here are our insights on Real Housewives who received crazy alimony payments.

Monica Garcia – $4,000

Just four months after Monica Garcia filed for divorce from her husband Mike for the second time, a fast-moving judge issued his final ruling. While Monica didn’t secure the biggest payout on this list, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City newbie still did quite well. According to court documents obtained by The US Sun, Monica’s monthly income was listed as zero dollars. She owns a children’s clothing company that sells diapers, which is definitely not doing well.

Monica “has no countable income from any source,” the documents say. However, Mike was reported to have a gross monthly income of $17,333. With that in mind, the judge ruled that Mike had to pay Monica $2,636 per month in child support. In addition, Mike was ordered to pay an additional $4,000 in monthly child support.

This monthly spousal support check must be paid to Monica by June 2037 unless Monica remarries or lives with another partner. Overall, with this alimony decision, Monica secured her next designer bag.

Alexis Bellino – $10,000

In a strange turn of events, Jim Bellino was the one who sought marital support from his then-wife Alexis Bellino. after he filed for divorce. Luckily for Alexis, the courts denied Jim’s request.

Instead, the former Real Housewives of Orange County star received $10,000 in spousal support from Jim every month. Alexis’ divorce terms included an additional $6,000 in monthly alimony payments as well as a one-time lump sum payment of $250,000, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.

Alexis and Jim were married for 13 years. Luckily, this former couple appears to have overcome their injuries. So far, Alexis and Jim are focused on co-parenting their three children to the best of their abilities. We can support their efforts, just like we could support a crazy $10,000 per month monthly support check.

Kim Richards – $23,000

Kim Richards is another one of the Real Housewives who has received crazy alimony payments. After divorcing her second husband, Gregg Davis, she and her children ultimately did well. Gregg is an oil tycoon and billionaire, which is what I am in my dreams.

However, Kim’s financial problems were widely known when she starred on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her addictions and spending quickly increased, and hopefully when she returns to RHOBH this season she’ll be doing much better.

What Kim received in her divorce from Gregg was the book “House of Hilton,” an unauthorized portrait of Hilton’s rise to fame and power. According to this book, Kim received a severance package that initially started at $20,000 per month and then ended in 2009. But don’t feel bad for Kim, because after the 2009 slump, that insanely high maintenance amount rose to “$23,000 per month.” month for life, or until she gets married again.” Not bad, Kim, not bad at all.

Sutton Stracke – $300,000

Sutton Stracke can afford every cat sweater in the world with her child support checks alone. Sutton gave up her career after the birth of her first child. At the time, her cash flow depended solely on her husband, Christian Stracke, who worked in investment banking. Sutton and Christian were high school sweethearts who were married for 16 years and gave birth to three children, all of whom are now adults.

When Christian called Sutton and advised her to get a lawyer because he wanted to leave their marriage, Sutton did so. It became clear to Sutton how wealthy she actually was. Even though there are no accurate reports about Christian’s earnings, Net Worth Gorilla estimates his net worth at $30 million in 2023. How much of that did Sutton receive?

Well, Sutton’s divorce settlement included a hefty payout of $300,000 per month. This maintenance amount is insanely high, so we hope Sutton puts it all to good use. May we suggest she buys her RHOBH co-star Crystal Kung Minkoff a new pair of (not ugly) leather pants?
