KUWAIT CITY, September 28: The appeal court upheld the family court’s ruling that required a Kuwaiti citizen to pay his wife a monthly amount of KD 450 as alimony, child support, maid’s salary and rent for a babysitter’s apartment. You will also make a one-time payment of 500 KD for furnishing the babysitter’s apartment.
According to the files, the wife’s lawyer, lawyer Inam Haider, requested in her statement of claim to prove her client’s custody of her husband’s children and to oblige him not to argue with her in this matter and to pay her previous marital maintenance payments of both kinds, starting from the date he refrained from spending money on her and to make it continuous. Lawyer Haider also asked the court to oblige the husband to pay maintenance payments of both kinds for their children from the date of filing the lawsuit, to continue them and to oblige him to provide a car or to pay it in cash, including in monthly installments , to pay. within the limits of KD 5,000, as well as to pay the maid’s monthly salary as well as the costs of hiring the maid and a babysitter as well as the rent for the babysitter’s apartment on an ongoing basis every month.
