Samantha signs an alimony contract with Naga Chaitanya before the wedding
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot on October 7, 2017 at a dreamy wedding ceremony in Goa and finally confirmed their separation on Saturday. The Akkineni couple asked for privacy during this difficult time. They met on the set of the film Ye Maaya Chesave, but after a while, sparks of love sparkled between them.
When rumors initially spread that they were dating, they remained silent, but they made it official a year before their wedding. There is a lot of buzz in the movie industry that Samantha turned down Rs 200 crores alimony. However, the latest updates suggest that Samantha signed a maintenance-free agreement with Naga Chaitanya even before her wedding.

Producers Suresh Babu and Nagarjuna felt it was right to include the alimony clause just in case something bad happens and it finally happens in reality. Popular lawyer and Telugu producer Niranjan Reddy was the one who drafted the divorce agreement. Since Samantha signed the ban on alimony before the marriage, there is no possibility of alimony.
On the labor front, Samantha will next appear in Gunasekhar’s mythical film “Shaakuntalam”. She was most recently seen in the web drama The Family Man 2.
