Seann W. Scott joins Jackie Chan in “Skiptrace”

Seann William Scott and Jackie Chan are teaming up for Exclusive Media and Talent International Film Co.'s buddy action comedy “Skiptrace.”

The story follows Bennie Black (Jackie Chan), a Hong Kong detective who has been tracking down notorious crime boss Victor Wong for over a decade.

When Bennie's young niece Bai (Fan Bingbing) gets into trouble with Wong's crime syndicate, Bennie must track down the only man who can help him: fast-talking American gambler Connor Watts (Seann William Scott).

Bennie races against time to get Connor back to Hong Kong, and the unlikely pair embark on a dangerous adventure from the snow-capped mountains of Mongolia to the windswept dunes of the Gobi Desert.

Jay Longino, Brian Gatewood, Alessandro Tanaka, David Posamentier and Geoff Moore all contributed to the script, while Sam Fell (“Paranorman”) is set to direct.

Chan and David Gerson will produce. Filming begins on January 13th in China.
