ABBEVILLE, Alabama (WTVY) – Sheriff Eric Blankenship says the search for a missing 54-year-old man at Lake Eufaula near the community of Holiday Shores will be scaled back Friday night; a three-person crew will take over the search during the overnight hours.
Blankenship confirmed to News4 that they will be back in full force at dawn on Saturday.

ABBEVILLE, Alabama (WTVY) – The Henry County Sheriff's Office is conducting a search at Lake Eufaula on Friday to search for a missing 54-year-old man.
According to HCSO, they will search the area of the lake near the Holiday Shores community in Abbeville for the individual.
The missing person, whose identity has not yet been established, is proven to be paralyzed from the waist down and is likely suffering from psychological problems.
A raft belonging to the missing man was found in open water north of the Walter F. George Lock and Dam at approximately 12:53 p.m.
People in the area and surrounding areas are asked to exercise caution during search operations at this time due to the heavy police presence and to be especially considerate of search vessels.
