Shakira and Pique break up up, baby custody is a matter

Pmarried couple Gerhard Pique and Shakira are set after the separate ways the alleged infidelity of the former it has come to light.

A split between the two is imminent, although a custody battle over their children is a major issue.

This was reported by El Economista’s Informalia magazine, which announced that the couple are ending a 12-year relationship and have already started the process of breaking up.

“There is no turning back: the Colombian singer and the Blaugrana footballer have started the official separation process in Barcelona,” wrote Informalia.

“They couldn’t get over their last crisis despite a 12-year relationship with both of them Shakira (45) and pique (35) Commissioning of specialized lawyers to initiate the procedure”.

Although they never married, which is one less problem, there are things they need to sort out and custody of their sons Milan and Sascha is the main problem that needs to be solved.

“They’re not married, but they share important things that need to be clarified,” adds Informalia. “Sources say neither of them wants money from the other, but there will be issues (and many of them) regarding custody of their two children.

Shakira wants to move to another country

After the couple’s possible split was announced earlier this week, it looks like it Shakira would like to move to another country, which she will do, but with her children.

“The artist doesn’t want to continue living in Barcelona,” Informalia explain. “She has no friends or family here (except pique‘s) and the tax authorities have been after her for years, so she intends to move to another country and settle there. With their children, of course.”

This is the situation that would cause problems as the footballer doesn’t want to be separated from his children like they were Barcelona her whole life and a change of country could affect her and he sees no need for it.

The same sources assure the magazine that neither of them are “willing to back down on this point, so it could get ugly if an amicable settlement isn’t reached.”
