“Shakira made it difficult” – Despite a custody agreement, Gerard Pique does not comply with the 10-day clause with Colombians

Weeks ago, Shakira moved to the United States with her children and parents. The Colombian’s move from Spain was basically an attempt to step out of the limelight. However, she cannot completely avoid Gerard Pique. According to the separation agreement, the Spanish football legend can meet her children for a set time per month. And what’s interesting about the deal is that the singer has to pay half of his travel expenses.

Despite all the compensation, Pique will reportedly still not meet his “10-day” deadline with his kids in the US.

Why doesn’t Pique spend ten days with his kids?

A few hours ago, Pique’s pictures surfaced via paparazzi accounts on social media. The soccer veteran was at the Miami airport. Finally he had traveled to America to meet his children. But besides the relief of finally meeting his children, he has to deal with another problem. Sources have recently indicated that Pique will not spend the agreed 10 days with the children.

He will reportedly only be staying in Miami until May 1st. According to the Mamarazzis podcast, Lorena Vazquez explained that the Colombian singer played a major role in this surprising adaptation. She said: “Gerard Pique will finally not be able to spend those 10 days with his children as provided for in the agreement because Shakira has made it difficult enough for him to do so.”

The reason is that Gerard Pique was with the kids until April 2nd. The singer strongly claims that the soccer veteran already spent two days with Milan and Sasha in April. So he definitely can’t stay with them for ten days at a time.

A few days before Shakira left Spain, Pique’s lawyer spoke publicly about her legal contract. According to La Vanguardia, Milan and Sasha will spend all three major academic breaks with their father, namely Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. The rest of the time he can spend ten days a month with his children.

As a visiting parent, Pique has a slight advantage as he can spend 70% of his child’s summer vacations with them. It is not necessary for the soccer veteran to keep them only in America. He can certainly take Milan and Sasha to Spain too, but only for these ten days. All these clauses only apply as long as Pique lives in Spain.

Should he move to the US, the former celebrity couple will have to sign a new agreement. Apart from that, the Colombian singer has only allowed the soccer veteran to meet his children under one important condition.
