Shaunie Henderson, who wrecked Shaquille O’Neal’s automobile over his infidelity shares her tackle the ‘d**khead remark’

Shaquille O’Neal is a man who has everything and yet nothing. An NBA legend, Big Diesel made his name by dominating the league, winning 4 championships in his 19 seasons. He made his way onto the pitch and was almost unstoppable. Off court, he has six children, four of whom are with ex-wife Shaunie Henderson.

Shaq and Shaunie met when Shaq signed with the Lakers in 1996. They had their first child, Shareef Rashaun, in 2000. In 2001, they had their second child, Amirah O’Neal. After years of relationship, the couple tied the knot in December 2002.

In 2007, Shaunie filed for divorce after finding out Shaq was cheating on her. She found out when the couple accidentally swapped phones. This led to her popping the wheels of Shaq’s car and then writing on the hood, “I’m cheating on my wife. I ain’t sh*t” with a knife.

Shaunie Henderson is happy for Shaquille O’Neal

After their messy breakup, Shaq and Shaunie tried to stay friends for the sake of their kids. As Shaq’s docuseries SHAQ rolls out on HBO Max, he spoke about various aspects of his life. In an interview, he spoke about his marriage to Shaunie Henderson (formerly O’Neal).

“I was ad khead. You don’t know how good you have something until it’s gone.”

The interview got to Shaunie. She was recently approached by Page Six to comment. The 47-year-old said:

“I am pleased that he is able to share his true feelings. I don’t really have an opinion on that. That’s so long ago. I’m in a new place in life. What he needs to share for his truth is his truth and it is what it is.”

It’s good to see that there are no hard feelings between the two. They have six children and for their sake it is important that their parents get along well with each other.

Is Shaunie currently dating anyone?

Shaunie began seeing a Houston-based pastor, Keion Henderson, in 2019. After two years of dating, the couple got engaged in November 2021. Shaunie revealed that Shaq never got on his knees and proposed to her. Luckily for Keion it was different.

“I was never proposed to him and him [Keion] Was suggested to me. I was asked if I would like to get married, but it was not proposed to me. Like a man getting down on one knee and holding his hand in the air with a ring. I have never witnessed anything like this.”

The couple wed at Aurora Anguilla Resort and Golf Club on May 28 this year.
