Department OverviewMVRecovery is the skip tracing division of MVTrac/MVConnect, a Motorola Solutions company. We are a full-service collections company that connects lenders and collection agents to enable faster, more compliant collections. Our technology is nothing without the people behind it. We are seeking an experienced Skip Tracer to be assigned to accounts to actively partner with the field agent and conduct a thorough and comprehensive search for our clients/lenders.
job description
This position involves searching for assets assigned as accounts by customers/lenders. In all cases, the asset tracked down is a defaulted loan associated with the customer/lender who held the account with MVConnect.
- Working in MVConnect’s System of Record (SOR)
- Use recognized databases and internet searches to find secured assets.
- Allocate collateral for recovery using an approved provider from MVConnect's list of approved customer providers.
- Process customer/lender updates according to the schedule of individual customer requirements.
- Track and ensure that collateral recovery is carried out by the on-site provider assigned to recover the asset.
- If necessary, make telephone calls to speak to locations where collateralized assets are located or, if permitted, speak with the client's customer to determine the location of the collateral.
Additional qualified skills:
- Basic experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Automotive industry or Collection/Return Experience desirable
- Type 40 words per minute or more
This position is remote and candidates can be located anywhere in the United States.
