The actor is currently in the news for his personal life. His estranged wife, Purnima Kharge, has claimed the actor did not pay her any alimony. The couple has been separated since 1995. The actor has not yet responded to the new allegations.

Raghubir Yadav’s wife, Purnima, told a leading newspaper, “There was a point last year where I was unpaid for five months. That delay cost me my house on Yari Road. I couldn’t pay the rent on time and I felt humiliated After that, I live on credit. I also had to mortgage my gold. This year, too, I was unpaid for four months. Two months before the court date, I received 80,000 yen, which was two months. “

Raghubir Yadav’s lawyer Shalini Devi, on the other hand, told the daily that Purnima had demanded an exorbitant amount, which is why the maintenance case will be dragged on after all these years. “Raghubir is 71 and Purnima should understand more,” added the lawyer.

Purnima filed for divorce in Mumbai last year after 15 years of separation. She also accused him of adultery and desertion. She is a former Kathak dancer and also has a 30-year-old son, Raghuvir. The two married in 1988 and have been separated since 1995. In her divorce petition, she claimed that she had abandoned her career as an international Kathak dancer to assist the actor while he was struggling for a better position in the film industry. She added that he left her for other women after becoming a successful actor, a Mumbai Mirror report had previously stated.
