Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin: Age distinction, infidelity and all about their relationship

Sylvester Stallone will soon be 76, but the actor is already in the mood to celebrate as he was reportedly spotted partying with his wife, children, brother and other friends ahead of the event. Stallone, who appears to have landed a role on the television series Tulsa King, was accompanied by his 53-year-old former model wife, Jennifer Flavin, and their three beautiful daughters – Sistene, Sophia and Scarlett.

The ‘Rocky Balboa’ star reportedly looked dapper in a white shirt and blue jeans, which he paired with green suede boots. Flavin, on the other hand, chose a black dress for the occasion that has a slit down one side. She was also spotted donning a pair of black heels. Stallone’s brother was also spotted at the meeting wearing a bright yellow shirt.

Stallone and Flavin have been together for years. Although their marriage is almost 25 years old, the relationship is much older. They reportedly met when Flavin was a 19-year-old aspiring model, while The Expendables actor was a 42-year-old man who has been twice divorced. They first met apparently in 1988 at a Beverly Hills restaurant and a romance blossomed between them.

At the time, Flavin had said, “I’d come over and we’d watch a movie, cook dinner, play with the dog, or go for a walk on the beach,” while Stallone commented, “I’m loving life again. Jennifer made the difference.” However, their relationship was not like a traditional one. In 1991, Stallone said, “When we get together, it’s wonderful. When we’re apart, there are no strings attached. It’s just how it is. No strings.”

Flavin had also backed his statement a year later, when she reportedly declared: “I’m not naïve about what can happen when I’m not around – he’s a 45-year-old man – I can’t change how he is . Still, he’s not a cheating dog every day of the week. We spend five nights out of seven together, so I don’t know where he would get the time from.”

But people close to Flavin apparently had issues with their blind faith in Stallone. Her mother said, “Jennifer just always wanted to trust him, no matter what.” The business owner’s friend, Kirstin Wolf, added, “She’s the kind of girl who wants to believe in the best in everyone. She said, ‘I know he loves me.’ So it was never a problem.”

However, Flavin’s trust was shaken when Stallone broke up with her in 1994 by just FedExing her a letter. “I cried a lot. I called all my friends. And I cleaned my apartment about five times. I had to get rid of so many pictures and things,” she said at the time, continuing to say, “I was disappointed. You can follow someone I couldn’t just copy it in a letter for six years. It’s not like I’m trying to ask him to come back or anything. I just wanted to talk.”

The reason for the bizarre split was reportedly Stallone’s affair with model Janice Dickinson, who gave birth in 1994. The ‘Rambo: First Blood’ star assumed it was his baby, but later, after a DNA test, it was revealed it wasn’t his father. Stallone then moved on with his life and was linked to several women, but nothing lasted.

Stallone and Flavin got together in 1995 and had a girl together in 1996 before saying “I do” to each other a year later. After the wedding, the actor said: “Two great things have happened to me in the past year: the birth of our beautiful daughter, Sophia Rose, and now my marriage to Jennifer, who is an amazing mother and who I know will be a wonderful wife. “

“I’ve never had more fun. I learned that from my wife… It took me 19 years to realize that she’s always right. I realized that women have a knack for making incredibly learned, wise, and smart decisions, at least Jennifer. I always jump without looking. She is always looking and never jumping. She is incredibly confident. So now I’m finally saying, ‘Honey, you make all the decisions. Done, done, done. I trust you.’ I’ve never had that before. Never,” Stallone added.
