Teen mom 2 alumni Kailyn Lowry clears the air of controversial rumors surrounding the start of her relationship with her boyfriend Elijah Scott.
The “Baby Mamas No Drama” podcast host, 30, opened up a Q&A with fans via her Instagram Story on Monday, July 11, answering a question about Scott, 23 – and his alleged infidelity.
“Was your boyfriend in a relationship when you moved next to him?” asked one fan, to which the mother-of-four replied, “Yes but he wasn’t cheating on her. We got together a while after their split, despite what some would like to believe.”
The author of Pride Over Pity – the mother of sons Isaac, 12 (with ex Jo Rivera), Lincoln, 8, (with ex husband). Javi Marroquin) and Lux, 5, and Creed, 24 months (with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez) — started dating Scott in April, and he moved in with her shortly after. On a June episode of her podcast, Coffee Convos, she revealed the two had been dating for “three months.”

April was a busy month for the former MTV personality. In addition to her new romance with the construction worker, she sold her old Delaware home for $460,000, according to The Sun. According to the outlet, she earned nearly $170,000 in earnings. That same month, Lowry’s defamation lawsuit against the former Teen Mom 2 co-star began Briana DeJesus was fired and she had to pay the Florida native more than $100,000.

Regarding her relationship with Scott, Lowry revealed on a June episode of “Coffee Convos” that she’s the one who “stalked” the construction worker. “Yes, you have,” he replied at the time.
As for their future together, the Hustle and Heart writer revealed on a July episode of Barely Famous that she’s considering “tying her tubes” — though she doesn’t necessarily want to rule out baby #5, she told an onlooker that she is not sure if she wants more children.
“My boyfriend doesn’t have any kids of his own, so it could go either way,” she told Coffee Convos the month before.
