Terrace Search & Rescue conducts operations to help RCMP in finding lacking individuals – Terrace Customary
The search for missing person Logan Sindia continues with Terrace Search and Rescue (SAR) called in to search an area near the airport, which was his last known whereabouts on March 9.
A search operation was organized on April 3 after being contacted by the Terrace RCMP, said Dave Jephson, vice president of the Terrace SAR. The search began at 8 a.m. and ended around 5 p.m
“We have not found the missing person,” Jephson said, adding that the SAR is always ready to assist police if needed.
Terrace RCMP issued an alert on March 18 asking for public assistance in searching for Sindia, last seen near the rural area south of Terrace.
According to the police description, Sindia is a 22-year-old Caucasian, 183 centimeters tall, weighs 85 kilograms, with brown hair and blue eyes.

In the search, 33 people, including members of SAR Kitimat and Prince Rupert, as well as local residents, split into groups and combed a wide area near Northwest Regional Airport, including Highway 37, Jackpine and Thornhill. Sindia’s family members also participated in the search.
The RCMP said they had no news of the investigation at this time, but the search for Sindia continues.
Meanwhile, police are asking anyone with information about Sindia or his possible whereabouts to contact the Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
