The Blount County Sheriff’s Workplace is in search of a lacking 59-year-old male with medical issues

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tennessee – The Blount County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday night that they are looking for a missing 59-year-old man who is legally blind with multiple medical conditions.

They said that Billy Joe Gray went missing Thursday night and that his family had not heard from him since the day before. Authorities said he lives in a house on Vinegar Valley Road in Friendsville.

MPs and K-9 teams have been searching the wooded area around his home since receiving the missing person report, officials said. The Blount County Sheriff’s Office said they believe he may be at risk because of his medical problems.
