MANDAN, ND (KFYR) — The body of a missing 22-year-old man from Lincoln was found Sunday night in Mandan.
A spokesman for the Mandan Police Department said they received a report of a possible missing person Sunday night. The man was last seen near South Bay Drive and 40th Avenue SE in Mandan on Saturday night.
Personal items believed to be those of the man were found in a canal off the Missouri River on the ice nearby.

Dive teams from the Morton County and Burleigh County Sheriff’s Offices found his body in the open water of the canal.
The investigations are ongoing. An autopsy is performed.
