January 20, 2025 – Police in Sun City are requesting the community's assistance in locating a missing person, Tanki Thetso (23), a Lesotho national. Thetso, who lives in Lekwadi Section Ledig village, was last seen by his girlfriend on August 22, 2024.
North West police spokesperson Captain Mpho Manyoba said a search in the village and surrounding areas of Sun City was unsuccessful. Manyoba said all leads were followed up with no successful results.
“At the time of his disappearance he was wearing blue overalls. Thetso has a dark complexion with brown eyes, a medium build and a length of about 1.5 m.
“Anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of the missing person is asked to contact the investigating officer, Constable Sydney Moitsheki, on 0823739842 or the South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” she said .
Manyoba further said that anonymous tips can be submitted via the MySAPS app from your smartphone.
