The search for Jodi Huisentruit leads Iowa investigators to the Winstead construction site

(KNSI) – Iowa investigators were recently in Minnesota to follow up on a tip in the case of 30-year-old missing person Jodi Huisentruit.

Des Moines police were at a construction site near Winstead looking for clues they hoped would lead to more information about her disappearance. Authorities did not say what they were looking for or what, if anything, they found.

Huisentruit was a Long Prairie native and graduate of St. Cloud State University. She was kidnapped on her way to work at KIMT-TV in Mason City in June 1995 and has not been seen or heard from since.

No one has ever been arrested.
